Accademia Britannica – IH Arezzo is a language school in the centre of Arezzo, in Tuscany, and has been teaching languages since 1979. It describes itself as the main English school in its area, and generations of local people have learned English there. The school belongs to the International House network and was inspected by International House World in March 2022. It is also an authorised Cambridge English exam centre. Since 1998 it has offered Italian language and culture courses alongside its English teaching.

The school teaches English from age 3 upwards, with a communicative, interactive approach in which teachers develop each student’s use of the language at their own pace. The range includes courses for children, teenagers and adults, a programme called Future Fluent, closed groups, and individual lessons in other languages on request. It also runs courses for teachers, schools and companies, as well as Italian courses for foreigners. As an authorised exam centre it offers Cambridge exams from Young Learners to C2 Proficiency, and teacher certifications such as TKT and TKT CLIL. Its own students, students from state and private schools, and private candidates can all sit them.

Its students come from every age group, from young children to adults. They include pupils from local state and private schools, working professionals and company staff, teachers, and foreign learners of Italian. Teachers are all qualified to teach English as a foreign language.

The school also supports students with specific learning differences. It builds strategies for different learning styles into its courses and trains its staff regularly. Its latest training, in September 2025, was led by an invited expert and partly funded by Erasmus+. Cambridge exam candidates with visual, language or learning difficulties can ask the exams office about the accommodations available. Other services include an online level test, summer projects with English-language activities in Arezzo, group study holidays abroad for ages 14–17, professional translation, and an online student portal.
